THE LEADING THROUGH THE LENS OF LOVE AND PROSPERITY WITH PURPOSE COMBO is a personal leadership and soul-inspired business course that embraces 1. Energy Mastery; 2. Love Centered Leadership; 3. Soul Inspired Goal Setting and. Prioritizing; and 4. the Soul Inspired Business Map Blueprint. People who enroll in this course are deeply invested in living life through the Lens of Love and cultivating soul-inspired business or employment in alignment with their true purpose and passion. 

Jody Marquis, the founder of the Chance for Change Institute and the creator of Leading Life through the Lens of Love and the Prosperity with Purpose courses, is a Vermont woman who has struggled to overcome adversity in her own life. Through her work, she noticed that women struggle with self-love, and the concept of leading from love, which results in women working in low-income jobs, struggling with relationships, and with their health. It is the mission of Loving Lioness Coach Jody to cultivate love and leadership in individuals, their teams, and organizations as a way to raise the consciousness of our planet. 

Jody is currently engaged in collecting data that validates the connection between well-being and prosperity. During her advanced studies, Jody was introduced to and has embraced the powerful influence of love through the lenses of Science, Psychology, and Universal and Spiritual Law.

ENERGY MASTERY is the foundation to living in alignment with your true self.  During the Prosperity with Purpose course, you are agreeing to participate in reading, reflecting, discussing, and practicing habits and strategies that transform your energy and allow you to walk in the world with more grace and ease as you embark on your journey of love and soul-inspired living, leading, and entrepreneurism. 

LOVE CENTERED LEADERSHIP, inspired by the work of Jack Russell and Glenda Otto, Self-Sustaining Leadership. 

Live Moral Courage: Learn the art of walking through Fear with Courage - even when you don’t think you can. 

Self-Sustaining Self Improvement: Self Improvement Skills that you will be practicing include observation, self-reflection, thought shifting, soul-inspired goal setting, continuous improvement, after-action reviews, self-accountability, and self-love.

Deep Self-Knowing: The relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you will ever have. The way you embrace yourself is a reflection of how you will embrace others. In this course, you will explore yourself and create an authentic leader profile that reflects both your strengths and your areas for improvement. Your Leader Profile will give you clarity about your… communication skills, self-management and leadership skills, temperament style, core values, operating beliefs, character traits, and personal spiritual philosophy.

Develop Connected, Transformative Relationships: Living a Love Centered Life means being the one to bring love to your relationship with others in ways that cultivate a sense of connection and belonging, raise the collective frequency, and live in harmony with the Universal Source of Love.  In this course, you will be given a road map for listening, hearing, honoring needs, and making requests in ways that people are most willing to engage.  You will be invited to become the catalyst for creating communities of connection in your family, workplace, and community. 

SOUL INSPIRED PRIORITY AND GOAL SETTING

In the Prosperity with Purpose course, you will engage in Self Management Skills: goal setting, priority setting, problem-solving, time and activity management - all habits you will be developing.  The goals you set, the priorities you are choosing, the problems you will be solving and the ideas you will focus on will be inspired by your higher self - your soul.  

 THIS NEXT STEP IS OPTIONAL.  THOSE WHO DO NOT WANT TO PURSUE SOUL-INSPIRED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OR EMPLOYMENT AS PART OF THEIR JOURNEY CAN OMIT THEMSELVES FROM THIS PORTION OF THE PROGRAM.

By signing this contract, you are agreeing to:

- Review the course schedule and put it in the tracking system that you use to stay organized and be accountable for when to show up when and where you need to be;

- Attend the five-day EVENT that is considered week one of the Course;

- Attend at least 75% of the live training and coaching sessions (for Vermont Grant Students only);

- Complete the weekly homework labs and submit the surveys to demonstrate how you are implementing the content and transferring it into practical action (for Vermont Grant Students only); 

- Pay Chance for Change Institute, Inc. for this course, either through a grant or scholarship or a private payment; and 

- Honor the confidentiality of all participants at all times. What is discussed, posted, or commented on in the group, MUST stay in the group.

- Have lifetime access to the course materials if you download them. Courses may be removed from your student portal at any time after completion.

 VERMONT STUDENTS are eligible to apply for an Advancement Grant from the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) for this personal leadership course to cover the tuition for the Prosperity with Purpose course. The Chance for Change Institute also offers partial scholarships to qualifying enrollees. If you are not a Vermont resident, not eligible for VSAC grant funding, or your Advancement Grant does not cover the full cost of your tuition and necessary books, you are responsible for the difference. I understand that Leading through the Lens of Love (Personal Leadership) is the course that is approved for funding through Vermont Student Assistance Corporation and I am also receiving the Prosperity with Purpose course as a gift.

I understand that Prosperity with Purpose embraces the Leading Life through the Lens of Love curriculum as the foundation to being a Soul Inspired Business Owner,  Including - Energy Mastery, Love Centered Leadership, and Soul Inspired Goal and Priority Setting. 

I understand that the Business Soul Map is the optional portion of the course, and I only need to enroll in this portion if I am interested in securing soul-aligned employment OR creating a soul-inspired business. (This portion of the program is currently integrated with the Leading through the Lens of Love course and is being offered as a free gift to all students enrolling in the May 2022 program and to members of the Women Thriving community. 

The schedule will reflect the times for Prosperity with Purpose work.  If I choose not to participate in this portion of the program, I can simply choose to not attend/watch that portion of the training and not to complete the work assigned.

At the end of the Prosperity with Purpose course, VERMONT students will be asked to apply for a second grant (in June 2022) to remain in the program after the initial 11 weeks and receive ongoing coaching. 

I have been given access to a copy of the Course schedule and agree to be present during the live events. I understand that recordings are for follow-up study purposes only.

[For VSAC grantees only] I affirm that I completed the VSAC grant application for Leading through the Lens of Love (the personal leadership course) on my own and that any support I received from Jody Marquis or other Chance for Change Institute staff was given and received in good faith. I was referred to VSAC to seek support beyond the basic information and screening provided to me by Chance for Change Institute.

[For VSAC grantees only] I understand that my acceptance of the VSAC Advancement Grant requires me to attend at least 75% of the live training and coaching sessions.

[For VSAC grantees only] I agree to honor the grant that has been given to me by VSAC, by fully participating in, and contributing to the course in ways that honor myself and the collective.

[For VSAC grantees only] I understand that others are contributing to my transformation by decreasing the monies they choose to receive instead of services, OR through paying taxes into the state and federal budgets so I can receive this grant.

I understand that just because I may not have paid money to participate in the LEADING THROUGH THE LENS OF LOVE course or access to PROSPERITY WITH PURPOSE as a gift, these courses are not free. Any grant or scholarship funding I may have received is an exchange of energy. I choose to live in gratitude for this miracle. I choose to live from abundance and know that resources are energy and the energy I put towards my transformation is the exchange of energy I give in return for the resources I have been given. In return, more will show up for me.

I agree to honor myself and fully commit to the mindset transformation, skills development, and application this course requires, and intend to embrace my heart-centered, socially conscious business or career path.

I agree to complete a baseline and an end-of-course assessment and to allow the Chance for Change Institute to use the de-identified data for the purposes of program evaluation and for seeking additional funding resources to expand and grow employment programs for women living in adverse or low-income circumstances.

Co-Creating A Powerful and Transformative Learning Environment for Shared Conscious Evolution

1. I understand that we relate to each other as co-creative partners and allies who are supporting and causing each other to live from the futures we are committed to creating.

1.1 I agree to share in deeply authentic and transparent ways about the FUTURE I am committed to creating, in alignment with my true self, even though I may not know what that means – I choose to embrace the (future me) and transform my past through the lens of leader and victor – not victim.

1.2 I agree to be accountable for being who I NEED TO BE to create this future by sharing, in deeply authentic and transparent ways, the actions I am committed to taking each week to grow my skills, and whether or not I am in integrity with these actions.

1.3 While I am the arbitrator of my integrity, to live in alignment with the future I am standing for, I agree to relate to my peers as co-creators of that future and to be open and receptive to their reflections and offers of support. As such, I agree to value and consider their perspectives and contributions, even if I ultimately choose a different perspective for myself.

1.4 I agree to hold the intentions of all my collective sisters in this course with me, with the same sense of loving commitment as I do my own. I agree to know the commitments of others in the Leading through the Lens of Love Community, and to extend support and encouragement, as well as energetically bless those intentions regularly.

2.   We take 100% responsibility for our well-being for the duration of the course.

2.1 I agree to take full responsibility for my well-being as I move through the course. I realize that, although the Prosperity with Purpose course is transformative, I am clear it is NOT in any way a substitute for personal therapy, other mental health, healing, or private coaching services offered by licensed clinicians. I am aware that, by enrolling in this course, I am doing so at my own risk and with the intention of being responsible and accountable for my needs. I make this choice consciously and with a sound mind.

2.2 Should I find myself experiencing difficult emotions that I am not able to manage myself, or if I am experiencing a crisis that I am having difficulty navigating, I agree to be responsible for generating any additional support that I might need by seeking emergency services within my community by calling 911, going to the emergency room, or by dialing 211. If seeking support during regular business hours (9 a.m.- 5 p.m.)  you may contact Jody directly, with the understanding that she cannot be responsible for your emotional or physical well-being, but rather she can serve as a catalyst for helping you to seek support outside of the course. If she cannot be reached, you are responsible for contacting the resources you need to ensure your well-being. In Vermont, your local 211 services can help you to find Mental Health Crisis or In-person Crisis Intervention phone numbers local to you.

2.3 I understand and agree that, if I do work in the field of mental health, coaching, healing, or any other service that may be in alignment with the needs of the women attending the Leading through the Lens of Love course, I am forbidden from soliciting or offering these services to my fellow students without the written consent of Jody Marquis. Students who breach this request will be terminated from the course without cause, and there will be no refund of any funds.

2.4 If I am unable to find a certified or licensed coach or therapist to work with privately, I will reach out to Jody Marquis, the founder of this program, for a referral.

3.   We relate to breakdowns, disappointments, obstacles, and delays in the course, and life, in creative and resourceful ways for the duration of the Program.

3.1 I agree to use happenings, both in the course and in my life, as opportunities to deepen into greater levels of self-awareness and mastery over the course material.

3.2 When faced with challenging circumstances, I agree to look for creative solutions and to communicate in ways that are generative of possible solutions, assuming that others are doing their best and are on my side.

3.3 I agree to give up responding to anyone or anything from a victimized perspective for the duration of the course and instead strive to see myself as the source in all situations. This includes both understanding how I may have contributed to and/or co-created what is occurring and also being aware of my commitment to respond to everyone and everything in generative and resourceful ways.

In the Prosperity with Purpose course, you will learn to speak from: I notice - and I feel - because my need for ____ is going unmet! AND I choose _________ as a way to be accountable for my needs.

We believe that people are often victimized in life, however, we are willing to become the victor in our own lives. Therefore, refraining from a stance of blaming others, shaming ourselves, or complaining about what is moving us through the Prosperity with Purpose curriculum.

3.4 I agree to respond to others speaking through the victim lens in non-victimized ways and to hold them in my heart as the deeper truth of who they are, which is powerful, sacred beings. While we refuse to buy into someone’s victimized story, we agree to focus our attention on who they are becoming, what the opportunity of this breakdown is, and to hold them with acceptance and patience when they are expressing themselves through a victimized lens. Prosperity with Purpose calls us to step out of fear. Individuals may experience triggers when engaged in self-reflective work. Blaming - Shaming - and Complaining will be met with accountability.

4.   We agree to embody the Women Thriving principles by committing wholeheartedly to live this work.

4.1 I agree to take actions to expand into a new and expanded comfort zone, such that I am continually taking actions and making choices from the self-of-the-future I am committed to creating, and getting more and more used to sourcing/aligning myself from that future.

4.2 I agree to be more interested in the possibility of my transformation, and in what I can learn in any given moment, than I am in being right, making someone else wrong, saving face, avoiding domination, or in looking good.

4.3 I agree to set aside what I think I already know and remain open and available to the course leaders and other participants to discover what I may not even know that I don’t yet know.

5.   We agree to be trustworthy, generous, kind, and honorable with all members of our Leading through the Lens of Love Community, as well as with all those who provide support for our course.

5.1 I agree to keep the confidence and guard the privacy of participants, including wearing headphones when attending live meetings, when others in the household or place of participation might be able to hear the training conversations that are occurring.

5.2 I agree to hold the sanctity and sacredness of all sharing that occurs in the course. 

5.3 I agree to never reveal the identity of another participant or duplicate postings from the program’s pages or groups without the written permission of the author of the post.

5.4 I agree to relate to my peers in ways that build respect, trust, and appreciation, as well as in ways that foster group learning and growth.

5.5 I agree to keep my word by doing what I said I would do and within the agreed-upon timeframe. This includes commitments made with me, other participants, and those in my life in general. I also agree to be accountable for recreating my word when I don’t keep it and to clean up the consequences that result from that break.
