How to Whitelist CHANCE FOR CHANGE emails for AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, & more

To ensure that the email we send you lands in your inbox and isn't mistakenly sent to your junk folder, please whitelist our email address, which is [email protected].

Below is information on how to whitelist us with AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, ThunderBird and Postini. Even if your ISP or email program is not listed, with these instructions you should be able to figure out how to whitelist our email address at any ISP or with any email program.

Also, if you find an email from [email protected] in your spam or junk folder, please take that opportunity to tell your mail program that it is not spam by hitting the "not spam", "not junk" or similar button, as that will train your program to whitelist it.

Gmail

To whitelist [email protected] with Gmail:
1. First, if you find an email from us in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the "Not Spam" button
2. Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to the search bar
3. In the From field, type in: [email protected]
4. Select "Create filter with this search" in the bottom right-hand corner of drop down box
5. Then select "Never send it to spam"
6. Click "Create filter"

AOL

To add [email protected] to your AOL address book:
1. First, if you find an email from us in your AOL spam folder, open it, select the "More" drop-down box, and select Move to Inbox
2. Open up the email from us in the inbox folder, select the Chance for Change name at the top
3. A drop-down box will open and click the "Add Contact" button
4. Fill in the "First Name" label box and click "Add Contact" 

Yahoo

To whitelist [email protected] with Yahoo!
1. First, if you find an email from us in your Yahoo! Spam folder, open it and click "Not Spam"
2. Click the "help" pull-down menu on the top right-hand corner and select "Settings"
3. Select "Filters" on the left-hand sidebar
4. Select "Add" on the next window
5. In the "Filter Name" field, type in your preferred filter name, such as Chance for Change
6. Select the "From header:" rule, and add "contains" and [email protected], which tells the system to put email with [email protected] in your inbox and not the spam folder.
7. Click the "Choose Folder" pull-down menu and select 'Inbox' and select "Save"
8. Next, click save on the following page to return to your emails

Hotmail

To whitelist our address with Hotmail you will need to add [email protected] to your Hotmail Safe List. Here's how: 
1. First, if you find an email from us in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click "Not Junk"
2. Next, check to see if the email address [email protected] is on your Blocked Senders list. If you find [email protected] on your Hotmail blocked senders list, select it and click on the "Remove" button.
3. Next, open your mailbox and click "Options" in the upper right-hand corner
4. At the top of the page, click on the "Junk E-mail Protection" link
5. Next, click on "Safe List", which is down near the bottom
6. Copy and paste [email protected] where it says "Type an address or domain"
7. Click the "Add" button

Microsoft Outlook Web

To whitelist our address with Hotmail you will need to add [email protected] to your Hotmail Safe List. Here's how:
1. First, if you find an email from us in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click "It's not spam" 
2. Next, check to see if the email address [email protected] is on your Blocked Senders list
3. Click the settings gear icon on the upper right-hand side and select "Options" from the menu that has appeared
4. On the left-hand side menu bar under "Junk email" select "Blocked Senders" and you will see the senders you have blocked. If you find [email protected] on your Hotmail blocked senders list, select it and click the "Remove" button. 
5. Next, open your mailbox and click the settings gear icon on the upper right-hand side, and select "Options" from the menu that has appeared
6. On the left-hand sidebar click "Safe Senders" 
7. Type in "[email protected]" in the box that appears and select the plus sign
8. At the top of that page click "Save"

Microsoft Outlook 2010

To whitelist our address in Outlook 2012 you add [email protected] to your Safe Senders List. Here's how: 
1. Right-click on the message from Chance for Change (or any email from a sender you want to whitelist).
2. From the drop-down list, select Junk E-mail.
3. Select Add Sender to Safe Senders List.
4. Click OK.

Thunderbird

To whitelist in Thunderbird, you will need to add [email protected] to your address book and then set up your Thunderbird Junk Mail Controls to whitelist your address book.
1. Click the "Address Book" button at the top of the inbox 2. On the left-hand bar select "Personal Address Book" 3. Select "New Contact" 4. Copy and paste [email protected] in the email text box  5. Select "OK" 

Apple Mail for OS X

  1. First, if email from [email protected] ends up in your junk folder, highlight or open it and click "Not Junk" at the top of your screen.
    2. Go to Mail > Preferences from your Mail menu
    3. Go to the Rules tab
    4. Select Add Rule
    5. Give this rule a name such as "Chance for Change"
    6. Create a rule that says "If any of the following conditions are met: 'From' 'Contains'" and then paste in "[email protected]"
    7. From the actions, select 'Move message' to mailbox 'Inbox'.
    8. Click "OK"
